Dato’ Hj. Kamil Khalid Dato’ Mushir Ariff was appointed to the Board of Directors of UDA Holdings Berhad effective 29 April 2026. He has over 40 years of experience in management and corporate leadership across various large corporate and industrial organisations. Throughout his career, he has held senior executive and board positions with broad operational and strategic responsibilities.
He previously served as Chief Executive Officer/Managing Director of Mahkota Technologies Sdn. Bhd., a diversified engineering company involved in utilities infrastructure, engineering products and solutions, including major EPC transmission systems projects for TNB. Prior to that, he held senior leadership positions at Idris Hydraulic Bhd, Kumpulan Guthrie Bhd (KGB) and Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor (KPS). His earlier career also included roles in international commodities trading with Philipp Brothers/Solomon Brothers of New York, as well as marketing management at The New Straits Times Group.
As a board member, he has contributed to various organisations through board and committee roles across the industrial and financial sectors. He currently serves on the boards of several companies, including as Chairman of FWD Insurance Berhad and Public Bank Islamic Berhad. He continues to provide strategic guidance drawing from his extensive corporate and industry experience.
He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Business & Management from Michigan, USA, a Bachelor of Science in Management (Marketing) from Syracuse University, USA and a Diploma in Public Administration (UiTM). He was also enrolled in the Master of Science (MSc) in Economics programme at Southern Illinois University, USA. His contributions have been recognised through several state awards, including Darjah Setia Pangkuan Negeri (DSPN), Darjah Indera Mahkota Pahang (DIMP) and Pingat Kelakuan Terpuji (PKT).
