Mohd Fadhil b Muhamad Yusof came on board UDA Holdings Berhad as Board Director on 16 April 2021. An engineer by profession, his professional experience also encompasses administration and management, with a strong commitment to high standards in driving expansion and growth.
He has served as Special Officer in a number of different capacities. He has been Special Duties Officer 1 to the Minister of Communications and Digital since 2021 and also Special Duties Officer to the Minister of Federal Territories since 2020. Apart from that, he had served as Special Officer to the Chairman of MARA (People’s Trust Council) at its investment arm, from May 2015 to Jan 2017.
Equipped with analytical and liaison skills and a highly focused mindset, he is adept at developing ideas and executing initiatives and projects. He is conversant with planning, coordinating, supervising, strategising, monitoring and articulating complex agendas in his line of work.
Mohd Fadhil started his career at Mechanical & Electrical Consultant Engineers (Perunding IMS) where he was Assistant Engineer from 2002 to 2003. Following that, he joined KenWin Engineering Sdn Bhd as M&E Supervisor for a few months. In 2003, he ventured into manufacturing by joining Flextonic Technology (Ericsson Shah Alam) as Shift Leader, and was responsible for mobile phone production and maintaining surface-mount technology machines. In August 2006, he moved to TL Geoscience Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Sapura Crest Petroleum, as Assistant Engineer, leaving in September 2007. He then joined GE Power Conversion UK Ltd in 2008 as Senior Commissioning Engineer/Project/Site Manager and stayed for four years until 2012. He has commissioned and managed various engineering projects in automation, electrical, propulsion and dynamic positioning around United Kingdom, China, Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia. From 2008 to 2015, he was a member of the Institute of Engineering Technologies.
Mohd Fadhil graduated with a Bachelor’s degree (First Class Hons.) in Electrical Engineering in 2008 from Staffordshire University, United Kingdom. Subsequently, he obtained a MSc in Electrical Engineering from the same university in 2014. He also holds a Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Power) from UITM.
