RAMZI BIN MANSOR
Ramzi bin Mansor was appointed to the Board of Directors of UDA Holdings Berhad on April 26, 2024 as a Non-Independent and Non-Executive Director. With a distinguished career in leadership positions across various public sectors and ministries, he possesses comprehensive expertise and skills in administration, management, education and finance, among other areas.
He boasts an extensive record of public service spanning several decades. His career began in 1994 as Assistant Director in the Administrative Section of the Economic Planning Unit under the Prime Minister’s Department. In 1996, he advanced to the position of Assistant Director in the Distribution Section of the same department, and in 1998, he served as Assistant Director at the National Economic Action Council Secretariat within the Prime Minister’s Department.
Ramzi subsequently joined the Malaysian Ministry of Finance (MoF) where he was Senior Assistant Director in the Budget Management Division from 2005 to 2008. He then progressed to the position of Principal Assistant Director from 2008 to 2011, Section Chief from 2011 to 2014, and Deputy Director of Budget from 2014 to 2018.
From 2018 to 2021, he was Division Secretary in the Finance Division of the Ministry of Education, following which, he moved to the Management Sector as Deputy Secretary General in October 2021, remaining until January 2024. Currently, Ramzi serves as Deputy Secretary General of the Treasury (Management) at the Ministry of Finance.
Ramzi Mansor holds a Master of Arts from Hiroshima University, Japan, a Bachelor of Administrative Management from Universiti Utara Malaysia, and a Diploma in Public Administration from the National Institute of Public Administration (INTAN), Malaysia.
He has previously served on various Boards of Directors, namely, the Melaka State Development Corporation (2009 – 2018), Sepang International Circuit (2017 – 2018), Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (2019 – 2020), and the Management Board of the National Higher Education Fund Corporation (2022).
In recognition of his many significant contributions to society and the corporate world, Ramzi Mansor has been honoured with numerous awards by various state governments in Malaysia. He received the Bentara Setia Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Terbilang (B.S.K.) from Kelantan in 2010, the Ahli Mahkota Kedah (A.M.K.) from Kedah in 2011, the Darjah Seri Melaka (D.S.M.) from Melaka in 2012, and the Darjah Kebesaran Johan Mangku Negara (J.M.N.) from the Federal Territories in 2022.
