Muhammad Ismail Dasuki is the Head of Project Management, Innovation & Technical Services at UDA Holdings Berhad. An engineer by profession with over 30 years of experience in the construction and project management industry, he has extensive expertise in township development, infrastructure planning and building construction.
Prior to his current role, he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of UDA Land (South) Sdn Bhd, where he oversaw business operations and the successful execution of large-scale developments across 1,230 acres of land with a gross development value (GDV) of RM4.5 billion. He also held the position of Vice President 1, Special Project Division at UDA Holdings Berhad, where he led the planning and coordination of high-end and prestigious developments in Kuala Lumpur, including Bukit Bintang City Centre, Anggun Residences and Legasi Kampong Bharu.
He also served as Vice President of Development & Operation at Iskandar Development Management & Services Sdn Bhd (a subsidiary of Iskandar Investment Berhad – IIB) from 2008 to 2013, where he played a key role in the master planning and implementation of major infrastructure and utilities systems in Nusajaya, Iskandar Malaysia, including the Medini development. He was also delegated to represent IIB in joint management with UEM Land for the planning and development of the utilities and infrastructure master plan for Nusajaya Township.
In addition, he contributed to the preparation of IRDA blueprint documents on utilities services for the overall Iskandar Malaysia Development Region, covering transmission systems, sewerage, transportation and water supply services, with a total project value exceeding RM1.0 billion.
At an earlier stage of his career, he held key technical and managerial roles at Kuala Lumpur City Centre Berhad and Satriadesa Corporation Sdn Bhd, managing diverse projects such as urban developments, community facilities and public infrastructure. Notably, during his tenure at Percon Corporation Sdn Bhd, he was involved in landmark highway projects including the Shah Alam Expressway (KESAS) and the Ampang-Kuala Lumpur Elevated Highway (AKLEH), where he oversaw mechanical and electrical systems integral to highway operations.
Muhammad Ismail holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) from the University of Malaya and is a Certified Project Management Professional and Certified Coaching & Mentoring Professional. He is a member of the Board of Engineers, Malaysia and the Project Management Institute, USA.
