YM Raja Azmi bin Raja Nazuddin is a Board Director of UDA Holdings Berhad and was appointed on 20 September 2023. He had also previously held the position of Executive Director and Group Chief Financial Officer in the company. A leader in his own right, he is an authority on financial management and planning, making financial and investment decisions that align with the company’s goals and aspirations to ensure growth and sustainability. His forte also includes managing accounting processes and providing financial insights and analysis.
Raja Azmi is currently MAVCOM’s Chief Operating Officer, being part of the management team in its industry development and regulatory efforts. Prior to his appointment, he was the Group Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB).
He started his career in 1987 with Coopers & Lybrand Malaysia and later worked in Malaysian Tobacco Company Berhad as Internal Auditor and Marketing Accountant. His other work experiences include serving as Chief Executive Officer/ Managing Director of Zelan Berhad, Senior Director, Group Finance of UEM Group Berhad and Executive Director of Time Engineering Berhad. He also held positions as the Chief Financial Officer of Tronoh Consolidated Malaysia Berhad and Group Financial Controller of Sapura Telecommunications Berhad.
Raja Azmi is a Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA) and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA). He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Bath, United Kingdom.
